The great people of the Atakan have evolved into a race of powerful beings that can absorb the energy of another?s soul to power their own immortality. This power is far greater than even they fully understand and the secrets to this power are worth fighting great battles and destroying even greater civilizations to protect.

Reluctant anti-hero, Roman Cyrrus from the world of Etap, finds himself as a contract warrior for his natural enemy, The Atakan.  However, like all shaky alliances there comes a day when all contracts end. Roman will lead his enslaved people on an epic fight that will span all the galaxies, perilous dimensions, and above all, bring the worlds of the living and the dead crashing head on into an atomic new beginning.

CHARACTER SKETCHES BY STEPHEN KNOX

Roman Cyrrus ? Lead character who is a resourceful anti-hero, Roman is an Atakan Admiral who defected back to his Epoq roots after uncovering the Atakan?s Afterlife campaign.  In his late-20?s, he has leadership qualities that belies his age and is a cunning strategist.   Doesn?t smile much anymore, except when he thinks back to his childhood memories of time spent with Cass Lar or when Jasper V makes a routinely sarcastic remark.

Jasper V? Hoverdroid, V-Tek class, owned by Roman Cyrrus and loyally serves by his side.  This unit was programmed to progressively develop its own personality, which it uses to share a unique sense of humor with Roman every chance it gets. With no one else to confide in, Jasper V becomes Roman?s best friend through their adventures together and the two share a common bond.

Cass Lar ? Red haired female beauty, leader of the Epoq Defense Force.  She grew up with Roman on Etap and the two dreamed of a life together before Roman was forced to abandon their plans to serve the Atakan.  She eventually finds herself embroiled in a fierce battle to defend Etap from the attacking forces of the Atakan and their soul energy weapons.

Grand Commander A'zul Tallon - Leader of the Atakan who has suffered through the loss of his wife and nearly had his daughter pass away in his arms. This was unacceptable. He has since vowed to use technology to eradicate death. Whoever the higher power is, he holds a grudge against him and doesn't feel as though the fate of those he loves should be arbitrarily decided upon or left to chance. His family and the Atakan people deserve better than that. The loss of his hands on Bacstanda was but a small price to pay...
Princess D?lara Tallon - Strikingly beautiful daughter of the Grand Commander, has a calm, and loving demeanor.  More interested in exploring her artistic side than any of her father?s scientific or military activities, she tries to become the voice of reason as the universe plummets into darkness. Guiltily, though, she sometimes only feels resentment toward her father's over-protective nature.

?Once my father nearly lost me.  Now he?s purging the galaxy just to protect me.?
